James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital
Argus/Tumor Research Center

Colorado State University

Fort Collins, Colorado

$9,270,000; A 35,200 square foot addition to the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, housing the Robert H. and Mary G. Flint Animal Cancer Center.  The complex provides new MRI and Tumor Nuclear Medicine departments, state-of-the-art research laboratories, a 50-seat auditorium, administrative offices and training/classrooms, and examination rooms with adjacent observation rooms for veterinary students.

The addition wraps the south and west sides of the original 1978 facility, creating a new architectural image for the VTH facility.  A new entrance plaza provides an enhanced hospital entry, blending the two buildings together.

Professional services included programming and full architectural, engineering and laboratory design services.
