The rejuvenated Lory Student Center (143,000 sf renovation / 61,500 sf addition) provides a physical presence that aligns with the rich student programs and the land grant history that make CSU unique.  The original LSC’s tight and uninspiring internal circulation corridors have been replaced with daylit concourses that have the scale and transparency to showcase student programs and activities.  All offices, meeting rooms and activity spaces benefit from new and highly efficient mechanical and electrical systems to reduce energy usage and improve the quality of the indoor climate.

The architectural image of the LSC has been refined and unified to reflect the values of its mid-century heritage.  This high-quality revitalization creates a destination at Colorado State University that serves as the hub of student activities on campus.

Brad – I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to you and your team for taking on one of (okay-the most) challenging projects of your career. I couldn’t have asked for a better architect, and as importantly, a better individual, to lead this project. Thank you and with deep gratitude.
