The Northfield Commons is an affordable housing apartment project that includes a total of seven 12-plex apartment buildings designed in three distinctive building types, with a mix of 1-bedroom/1-bath, 2-bedroom/2-bath and 3-bedroom/2-bath units.   

Building A is a 3-story apartment building that includes a single main entrance to an interior stairwell on the front of the building.  Building B is a 2- and 3-story apartment building with the central units being accessed by an entrance to an interior; separate entrances for the two 3-bedroom units were designed to provide a more private entry for families. 

Building C is a 1-story community building that houses a shared gathering space, staff offices, restrooms and a storage and maintenance area and connection to an exterior patio.
