Site master planning and design for a new South Transit Center, anchoring the southern end of the MAX Bus Rapid Transit corridor that runs north-south along the BNSF Railroad right-of-way through the heart of Fort Collins.  Improvements include 11 bus bays, a 175-space park/ride facility, a secure bicycle shelter enclosure, and bike and pedestrian trail connections.  The new multi-modal transit center houses a lobby with ticket counters and coffee shop, a driver’s lounge with private restrooms and shower facilities, offices and conference room.  An internal vestibule provides after-hours access to the coffee shop and public restrooms.

Art in Public Places artist Robert Tully created a series of engraved granite panels depicting the history of transportation in Fort Collins, which are integrated into the concrete fins along both sides of the platform.
