This project transforms the student housing and dining experience for incoming freshmen by bringing the first-year housing back onto the original campus core, immediately adjacent to the Wyoming Union and Half-Acre Recreation and Wellness Center.

The two-building development sits on a ridgeline at a high point of the main campus providing exceptional views to the east and west.  Between the two halls combined, there are 950 beds in a mix of traditional doubles and singles served by clusters of single-occupancy gender-neutral bathrooms, along with a limited number of semi-suite units.  The 850-seat dining facility is artfully nestled below a portion of the north residence hall creating a light-filled 2-story space with cascading rooflines.

The building configurations create meaningful exterior courtyards while being integrated into the overall campus pedestrian/bike circulation pathways with a newly created nearby transit stop.
